Beersurfing Goes Down Under

Hi everyone! Sorry for the long and eerie silence – Beersurfing has moved! Well, part of it has – I am no longer living in Phoenix. I’ve sold nearly everything I owned and moved halfway around the world to Wellington, New Zealand to start a new career and a new life. Do not be alarmed – Beersurfing is alive and well, but my move has put us on a bit of a hiatus that we hope to end soon. Donny has picked up where I left off in Phoenix and is currently stockpiling massive amounts of beer reviews, and Treehorn is back fighting the good fight in New York. I am having a fantastic time here in the land of Hobbits, and I’m drinking some of the finest beers that Middle Earth has to offer. The availability is not nearly as high as it is back in the US so I do need to dig a bit to find them, but they’re around if you want to look! This is exactly why we started Beersurfing – to help you find strange beers when you find yourself in a strange city! ¬†While I am getting settled in to my new home, I’m constantly keeping an eye out for different beers and excellent places to drink them. I haven’t been posting, but I have been reviewing and researching. Stay tuned for a deluge soon!
Also in the works is a brand new, completely rewritten version of Beersurfing to replace the original that has served us for the past two years. The spirit of the site will still remain, but it will be more robust, more versatile, far more interactive, and just plain fun to use! We hope to begin beta testing on it soon, but we’re definitely not rushing it. Until then, thank you for your patience while we continue our expansion. Cheers!
